David M. Sparks, O.D.

Office

Dr. David Sparks completed his undergraduate studies at the University of Notre Dame and obtained his Masters in Accounting degree from the Ohio State University. While he enjoyed accounting, he felt that he would achieve a deeper long-term fulfillment with a career in health care, and he decided to enroll at the Ohio State University College of Optometry. He graduated Magna Cum Laude with his Doctor of Optometry degree. While in Optometry school, Dr. Sparks was awarded the OOA Distinguished Student Award in recognition of service to his fellow students and the Toledo Optical Nexus Award in recognition of leadership. He is a member of both the American Optometric Association and The Virginia Optometric Association.

Hillsville Family Eye Care, PLLC opened December 14, 2009. The practice was developed to serve the community by providing the highest quality vision care and diagnostic examinations for the entire family.

Stephanie - Front Office Associate

Stephanie grew up in Laurel Fork, Virginia and graduated from Carroll County High School in 2000. She earned her Associates degree in Administrative Office Management in 2008. She has over four years of experience working with insurance at a local Nationwide Insurance office. Stephanie is currently working as the Front Office Associate at Hillsville Family Eye Care.
When not at work, she enjoys spending time with her husband and kids.
